Obituary of Theresa Ann Cummings

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Theresa Ann (Gillis) Cummings of Saint John, NB, which occurred on March 7, 2018 at Church of St. John St. Stephen Home. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Eileen (Carty) Gillis. "She spent most of her adult life living in Rhode Island". She was employed with City of Providence Police Department as a crossing guard, meter maid and then various administrative jobs. She is survived by son: Paul Cummings (Naomi) of Rhode Island; grandchild: Kevin; two sisters: Shirley Mackin and Margaret Gaudet, both of Saint John; one brother: Paul Gillis of Montreal. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one brother: David Gillis. To honour her request there will be no funeral home visitation. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
