Obituary of Mary Geraldine Crowley

Crowley, M. Geraldine – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mary Geraldine Crowley formerly of Grandview Ave, wife of the late Willard C. Crowley which occurred on May 25, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Duguay) Sheilds. Mary was a member of the Legion of Mary, over fifty years in the CWL, loved to work in the garden, and the greatest cook. She is survived by two sons: Anthony Crowley (Charlene) of Saint John and Robert Crowley (Carol Pitre) of Rothesay; two daughters: Joann Faubert (Kevin) of London, ON, Mary Crowley (George Totton) of Midland, one sister: Irene Bastarache of Saint John; six grandchildren: Jason Crowley, Cathleen Hardy, Michael, Shaun, Aaron and Lee Crowley; six great-grandchildren; special niece: Patricia Tracy and several nieces and nephews. Geraldine was predeceased by her sister Frances Anderson of Florida. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424), with visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday May 29 and 30, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Stella Maris Church on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery.
