Obituary of Robbie Lowe

With broken hearts, the family of Robbie Lowe Jr. announce his unexpected passing on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born December 23, 1998 in Saint John, he was the son of Rob and Carrie (Guimond) Lowe. Robbie graduated from Harbour View High School in June, and from 161 C.K. Beveridge Air Cadet Squadron when he turned 18. A real outdoorsman, he loved racing, fishing, hunting, and enjoying nature and animals. Robbie loved his job working with his father for HERC Equipment Rentals. Most of all, he valued time with his family and friends, as they brought him pure joy. In addition to his loving parents, Carrie and Rob, Robbie will be missed by his sisters: Alyssa and Grace Lowe, and Elizabeth Guimond (Brian Thorne); nephew, D’Arcy Guimond; grandparents: John Mason Sr. (Nancy), Shirley Walker (Dale), Tom Jones (Donna), and Sheila Neves; aunt, Judy Gallant; uncles, John Mason Jr. and Joseph Gallant; great uncles: Alfie Lowe, Frankie Lowe (Diane), Preston Lowe (Mary), and Anthony Guimond (Eva); great-aunts: Della Rogers (Terry), Jo-Anne Stanton, Cathi Gibeault (Dave), Janey Smith (Claude), Margaret Wadman, and Joan Hope; godparents: Frank Lowe III (Denise) and Anita Crosby (Cecil "Skip"); his high school sweetheart, Robyn Maillet; chosen little sisters: Kylie, Shelby, and Adaleigh Sears; numerous cousins, many many friends, his Boston Terrier buddy, Tank; and Bluie the fish. He was predeceased by his grandparents: Boyd Guimond and Nina Mason; great-grandparents: Shirley and Frank Lowe, William and Elizabeth Guimond, Ray and Ann Guitard, and Harry and Audrey Mason; uncles, Boyd Guimond Jr. and Thomas Holly; and aunts, Elizabeth Guimond, Tanya Guimond, and Sherry Mason. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm. A funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 10 am. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the NB Wildlife Trust Fund, Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
