Obituary of Janice Helen Fisher

The devastating loss of Janice Fisher occurred on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at her home. Born on November 23, 1965 in Truro, NS, she was the daughter of Helen Fisher Weatherby of Saint John and the late Dave Fisher. Janice enjoyed music and always had a special place in her heart for all animals. It is our hope that she has finally found peace. In addition to her mother, Janice is also survived by her daughters, Nicole, Kristen, Kayla and Sarah; son, Rick Hunt; sister, Shelley Gomke (Tony); brother, David Fisher Jr. (Surlee); grandchildren, Brendun, Layla, Isabelle, Connor, Madox, Khloe and Riley; as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. Besides her father, she was also predeceased by her step-father, Ben Weatherby and her aunt, Ann Staples. Although there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are welcome to attend the funeral service, which will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 12:00 Noon. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association of NB (Saint John Chapter) or Canadian Cancer Society.
