Obituary of Shirley M. D. Allaby

Allaby, Shirley Mary Delphine – With gratitude for a lifetime of memories, the family of Shirley M. D. Allaby, loving wife of the late Percy Allaby, announces her passing, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Born in Saint John on February 23, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Delphine (Casey) Fleming. Anyone who knew Shirley knew how incredible she was. She was a great mother, wonderful grandmother, loving wife and amazing friend. Shirley will be missed by her daughters: Natalie Fleming and Sabrina Weddell; beloved grandchildren, John, Kattie, Cody, Kyla, Jodie Lynn and Christopher; many great-grandchildren; siblings: Melvin, Ronnie (Bea), Gloria Jean "Bunny", Barbara Ann (George), Wayne, James and Belinda; several nieces and nephews; as well as her best friend and soul-mate, Betty. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). As per Shirley’s request, a private graveside service will be held.
