Obituary of Dianne Elizabeth Côté

It is heavy hearts that the family of Dianne Elizabeth Côtè, loving wife of Normand Côté, announce her passing, which occurred on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with her family by her side. Born on April 6, 1948 in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter to the late Arthur and Anna (Arsenault) Arsenault. Dianne was an everlasting volunteer. She spent her time volunteering as a lay-reader with her church, and at Rocmaura and Palliative Care at the Regional Hospital offering her companionship to those in need. Dianne was very social in all aspects, she even had long time pen pals from all over the world. She had beautiful penmanship and her etiquette was untarnished. Dianne spent her home time taking care of her many pets throughout the years and tending to her houseplants, she also loved going for walks. Dianne will be remembered for her giving, loving and kind nature and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Dianne will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years Normand, her siblings: Lorraine (Robert) Earle, Gerard Arsenault and Eric (Sheila) Arsenault, sisters-in-law: Diane (Roger) Cyr, Isabelle Côté (Yvon) and Madeleine (Don) Singleton, brother-in-law Jacque Côté, along with many nieces, nephews and members of her extended family. Besides her parents, Dianne was predeceased by her sister Jeanette McLaughlin. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will be held on Friday, November 23 from 2PM-8PM with a Ladies Auxillary of Knights of Columbus #6595 service taking place at 6:30 PM.
