Obituary of Theresa Morton

With appreciation for a life well-lived, the family of Theresa Morton, loving wife to the late Lewis Morton, announces her passing which occurred on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in South Branch, Kent Co., NB on March 7, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Annie (McGovern) Arseneault and is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

 

Theresa will be missed by her children: Margaret Morton, Leonard Morton (Victoria), Mary Farren and Lewis Morton (Cindy); eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; former daughter-in-law, Marlene; son-in-law, David; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, Theresa was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley Hodgin and six siblings.

 

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Visitation for Theresa will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, May 1 and 2, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at West Branch Cemetery, Kent County.
