Obituary of Mary Ruth Bond

The family of Mary Ruth (McKim) Bond announces the loss of their loved one, following a lengthy illness, at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 26, 2019. Born in Saint John, Mary was the daughter of the late Clarence and Alice (Leggett) McKim.

Mary is survived by her husband Arthur J; son Peter Iain of Long Reach; brother-in-law Robert (Barbara) and sister-in-law Nancy White, as well as several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Mary graduated from Saint John High School and was employed by NBTel for many years. Mary  was a long-time member of St. Matthews Presbyterian Church.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, N.B. (634-7424). A private family interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of NB.
