Obituary of Arthur Andrew Evans
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Arthur “Art” Andrew Evans husband of Bernice (Seeley) Evans of Saint John which occurred on March 7, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on April 11, 1932 in Lorneville, NB, he was a son of the late Richard and Edith (Baird) Evans.
Art was employed with Gulf Operators as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. He was an avid walker and enjoyed doing puzzles and gardening.
Besides his wife Bernice he is survived by their children, Debbie Roy (Kevin), Wade Evans (Christine), Lawrence Evans, Heather Ellis (Lloyd) and Sharon Boucher (Michael); six grandchildren: Cassie, Caitlin, Josh, Emma-Lee, Andrew and Nathan; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by two brothers: Willard and Raymond; two sisters: Jean Cassidy and Marjorie Wilson.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 am. For those who wish remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB, NB Lung Association, Alzheimer Society of NB or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
