Obituary of Peter Brewing

It is with devastation that the family of Peter Brewing announce his unexpected passing on July 18, 2020 at his residence. Born in Saint John on November 24, 1957, he was the son of the late George and Stella (Sheehan) Brewing.

Peter was a dedicated employee at Plasticraft for over 40 years. He was happiest with his family. He was the most at home when he was outdoors. He was an avid fisher, and hiker, and he loved his long hiking trips with his daughters. Peter was a devoted husband and father, and he adored them with all his heart. Peter also liked playing guitar and loved to play a tune or two when he could. He is irreplaceable and will be missed so very much.

Peter is survived by his loving wife: Andrea Brewing; daughters: Tara Brewing and Candace Brewing (Keith Getson); step-sons: Thomas (Theresa) Clowater and Aaron McAfee; brothers: Rick (Kim) Brewing and George Brewing; sister: Roseanne (Frank); first wife Kerry Brewing; 9 grandchildren: Ashley, Amber, Mia, Jailyn, Karlee, Lily, Traycia, Athena, and Karter; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Wendy, and daughter Karla.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 11 AM. Donations in Peter’s memory can be made to the Saint John Youth Orchestra.
