Obituary of Linda Tubbs Danahy

With heavy hearts, the family of Linda Tubbs Danahy, wife of Paul Danahy, announce her passing on Tuesday, November 10. 2020 at Bobby’s Hospice, following a period of illness. Born January 16, 1944 in St. Stephen, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Jule (Greenlaw) Tubbs.

In addition to her husband, Paul, Linda will be missed by her daughter, Valerie Kaye (Dan); brothers, Clifford and Sidney (Valerie); sisters, Patricia Alexander (George) and Pauline Bellis; and step-children: Mike Danahy, Lori Childs (Billy), and Chris Danahy (Erin). Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Steve Bellis.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Bobby’s Hospice for their care and compassion over this past week. Your kindness will not be forgotten.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). In keeping with Linda’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family graveside will take place at a later date in Rollingdam. For those who wish, remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
