My thoughts and condolences to you all during this time. I have many special memories of Donnie, mostly his kind heart. When I found myself in a new role of being a single Mom, Donnie and Brenda looked out for Brynlee and I. Your family took us under your wing and I will forever feel blessed for that. I will fondly remember all the many 'heart to heart' talks over the years.
I will always remember his laugh. He always had a way to make you smile (especially if that was by agitating). From the countless Urethane smudges across my desk, my weekly license plate sticker "checks", to my neat desk being scattered all about just to get me going. You couldn't help but love him.
Rest in peace Donnie, no more pain and suffering Buds xoxo

I moved to Saint John back in 2008. The first people that I met were Brenda and Donnie.....and little Nicky. We have had some nice visits and made some memories. My best memory is going out for the day with Donnie, Brenda, Nicky and Georgie. Donnie was such a gentleman.... even taught my grandson how to fish and cast a rod. Nicky and Taylor got to drive the pontoon boat. We were treated like royalty that day...we talk about that adventure often. Thank you for the memory Donnie....may you R.I.P. pain free and I know that you will be watching over Brenda and Nicky...as you told me often in your visits to the office..... I don't know what I would do without them both....well... I heard the same from them. God bless my friend....see you in the next life. Sandra Oakes

Dear Brenda, Nick and family,
Firstly, heartfelt condolences on your loss. I’m not sure even Donnie realized how treasured he was by myself and our family. I could share a number of stories, but I think Donnie would smile at my sharing the part he played in helping unite me with my “old beauty” our VW Vanagon.
After literally years of helping us search, Donnie went with dad to check her out. He was present in the negotiation, a constant advisor in her restoration and when she was finally ready for the road but wouldn’t go faster than 60 km an hour, Donna pulled the spark plug wires out of Brenda’s van (sorry Brenda!) and we're off to the races. But the real demonstration of Donnie’s kind and generous nature was that throughout our maiden trip Donnie was in constant contact, asking how things were and guiding us on our way. Donnie, you are missed already.

Donnie was a great guy and friend. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, I have so many great memories as a co worker and a friend I will always look back and smile. These photos are from a racing/camping trip we had to PEI what great times. Donnie and Nicky helped me get a new starter on the car and finished 3rd place that weekend. I will miss you, your stories and your laugh buddy I will see you again on the other side. Rest easy brother

We sometime think that went we loose someone so special that things won't be the same, but I can asure you you they will be You will alway have the great memories.
