Obituary of Kenneth Frederick Todd

Todd, Kenneth Frederick- The death of Kenneth F. Todd occurred on March 17, 2021, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  He was born on September 28 1929 in Cambridge Narrows, NB, to the late Harry and Annie (London) Todd.  He was the loving husband of the late Velzora (Kincade) Todd for 68 years. 

 

Ken retired from Lantic Sugar after 45 years. He was part of the management team and often spoke fondly of his memories there. 

 

Kenneth will be sadly missed by his family, his grandchildren: Kenneth G. Todd   (Sara-Jane) and Terri DesRoche (Chris) ; great-granddaughter Sadie; great-grandson Benjamin; his brother: Tommy Todd (Helga); sisters- in -law; Linda Todd, Vera Erb, Pauline Kincade and Joanne Galbraith plus several nieces and nephews. 

 

Besides his parents, Kenneth is predeceased by his wife, Velzora (Kincade) in May 2018, son, Richard Todd; his brothers: Donald, Garnett, Colter, Robert and Winston Todd; and sisters: Arlene Tessier and Marie Gibbs.

 

Ken was a member of the Forest Hills Baptist Church.

 

The family would like to thank the staff at Shannex Parkland for the love and wonderful care given to Ken during his past year there.

 

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (634-7424). There will be no visitation at Kenneth’s request. A funeral service will take place at Brenan’s Chapel on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Due to the current health restrictions, the service will be by invitation only.  For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed and can be viewed by visiting Kenneth’s obituary. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Forest Hills Baptist Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com
