Obituary of Laurie Dawn Defazio

It is with broken hearts that the family of Laurie Dawn Myers-Defazio announce her passing on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at her residence. Born on March 24, 1973 in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of Wayne Myers and the late Judy Myers.

Family was most important to Laurie as she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an amazing grandmother who loved unconditionally. Her world revolved around her grandchildren especially the apple of her eye, Rowan. Laurie was an avid Habs fan, a lover of road trips and enjoyed the games of bingo and the shopping trips with her sisters. She will be missed by her family and many friends.

Laurie will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Cory Defazio (Alexis Haines), Ryan Defazio and Maleik Robinson; siblings, Shelly Simmons. Wayne Myers (Zarrah) and Wanda Myers (Neftali); grandchildren, Rowan Defazio, Blake and Hayden Haines; her adoring in-laws; best friends, Scott Aevis and Derek Defazio; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her mother, Laurie was also predeceased by her mother-in-law, Margaret Defazio.
