Obituary of Brenda Marie Brewer

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Brenda Brewer of Saint John, loving partner of Harold Comeau announces her passing, which occurred on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her home. Born on February 5, 1954 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Aage and Mildred (Guthrie) Bech. Brenda looked forward to spending time with those she loved and especially treasured the times with her precious nephews. She was as avid reader and will be greatly missed. In addition to Harold, Brenda is also survived by her daughter, Paula Marie Marshall (Stewart) of Sydney River, NS; brothers, William Bech (Liz) of Browns Flat, Kris Bech of Saint John and Peter Bech (Kim) of Ontario; as well as nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Liz Bech. Although there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, which will be held at St. John’s (Stone) Church, 87 Carleton Street, Saint John on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 7:00 PM. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the IWK Health Centre.
