Obituary of Halcyon Beatrice Mills

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Halcyon Beatrice “Hallie” Mills announces her passing, which occurred on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Loch Lomond Village. Born April 5, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Darling (Groat) King.

Hallie is survived by her grandchildren Susan Foldi (Stephen), Gerald Tait (Darlene), and Paul Tait (Lise) as well as 6 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Edmund Mills; daughters April Mills and Sharon Tait; brothers Joseph and Osborne King.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at The Loch Lomond Village – Cedar House for their wonderful care of Hallie during her stay.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A graveside service will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Donations in Hallie’s memory may be made to The Loch Lomond Villa Foundation or to St. Andrew & St. David United Church.
