Brian McCulloch

Obituary of Brian Wayne McCulloch

It is with heartfelt sorrow the family of Brian Wayne McCulloch of Nauwigewauk, NB, announces his passing on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. Born in Truro, N.S., on October 2, 1967, he was the loving son of Elta Fahey-Doncaster and step-father Terry Doncaster.

Brian was employed with Canadian Tire Rothesay for over 7 years – and many other mechanic shops in the area in past years. He was appreciative of the people he had in his life, and cherished close friendships like the one he had with his superior at work, Jimmy Hanson, his best friend Blair Dempster, and his other amazing colleagues at the Canadian Tire. Brian had a passion for mechanics from a very young age and shared that gift with so many. If anyone was stopped on the side of the road with a broken-down vehicle, he always pulled over to lend a hand. There was even a time when he stopped to assist an older lady whose car had quit at the store near his home. He then took her shopping to purchase another vehicle! Those stories are just small examples of Brian’s big heart, and he is truly irreplaceable and will be missed by so many.

Along with his mother and step-father (Grampie), Brian is survived by his daughter: Ella McCulloch - who was his angel - and her mother April Hooper; two sons: Cameron and Travis; and his brother Mark Densmore, of Liverpool, NS. He also had a very special place in his heart for Kailee his dog, and Skylar his cat.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Cremation has occurred and a private graveside service will take place in Noel Shore, NS, at a later date. Due to the restrictions of the ongoing pandemic, there will be a Celebration of Brian’s Life held in the Saint John area next summer. Donations in memory of Brian may be made to the SPCA Animal rescue league or to a charity of the donor’s choice, and online condolences can be placed at www.BrenansFH.com.
