Obituary of Marie Rosalind Woodland

It is with heavy hearts the family of Marie Rosalind Woodland announces her passing, which occurred on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the Church of St. John & St. Stephen Home. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late William and Hazel (McGrath) Knox.

Marie will be missed by her children Wayne (Darlene), Karen (Ed), Wendy (Gordie), Tammy (Les), and Dawn (Dana); brother Donnie (Ethel); grandchildren Kristalee; Jeffrey, Gordie, Ryan, Anthony, Heather, Ashleigh, Matthew, Jordan, Tyler, Jessica, Tristen, and Tanner; as well as many great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, nieces, and nephews.

Aside from her parents, Marie is predeceased by her husband, Cecil; sisters Pauline and Joan; brother Eddie; and a special sister-in-law, Lillian.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, N.B. (634-7424). Due to the current health restrictions, services will be by invitation only. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021, from 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, from the Brenan’s Chapel at 12:00 PM. For those not in attendance, the funeral will be live-streamed. Donations in Marie’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
