It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loving Mother, Grandmother & Great-grandmother Marjorie Denton on May 11th, 2021 at the age of 93. Marjorie was the loving wife of the late Robert K. Denton and the cherished daughter of the late Eli and Ida (Priddle) Lilly.

Marjorie was born in St. John's, NL August 11, 1927 and will be deeply missed by her son Ronald (Elaine) Denton of Baxter’s Corner, daughter Deborah (Ian) Benjamin of Millidgeville, grandchildren Greg (Michelle) Denton, Tracy (Shawn) Duffy, Jason (Stacey) Denton, Sean Benjamin & Trevor (Lisa) Benjamin along with her 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Leslie Denton & grandson Justin Denton along with her sisters Gwen, Nina, Jean, Evelyn, Hilda, and brother Reginald.

Marjorie grew up in St. John’s NL where she met Robert where he was stationed during the war. She came to call Saint John home after marrying the love of her life Robert. Marjorie was devoted to her family, offering a supportive ear and always a warm cup of tea, she loved spending time with everyone.
