Hector Espinoza

Obituary of Hector David Espinoza

The death of Hector Espinoza occurred on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Bobby’s Hospice.  Hector was born on May 17, 1957 in Armenia, El Salvador.

Hector, along with his wife and children, left his war-torn homeland of El Salvador, in hopes of a safe new start.  Throughout the years, he made several choices for himself…some good and some not so good.  However, regardless of what was happening in his life, Hector always had his children in his heart.

Eventually, Hector was able to gather the strength to change his life for the better.  His “new” life focused only on his children, as he knew there had been a void left in their hearts because of him.  Hector spent the rest of his life trying to fill that void and to establish relationships that were once broken.

Suleyma Espinoza, his first born.  Suleyma, in the last three years, reconnected with her Father after a long absence.  He had believed this would be impossible.  Suleyma searched for her Father; she made his dream come true.

Merissa Espinoza, second born daughter.  Merissa spent many years with an on and off relationship with her Father.  However, he was always there when she needed him, no matter what the reason was.

Youngest daughter, Kittana Espinoza.  Kittana, his beautiful daughter.  He unselfishly did what was best for her, no matter how much it hurt.

Hector always took the time for himself to better his life and his children’s lives.  He beyond succeeded.

Hector’s family would like to thank the entire staff of Bobby’s Hospice for the exceptional care that was always provided towards him.  The kindness and support shown toward Hector and his family will never be forgotten.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, the funeral service will be held privately.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
