Larry was born in St. Stephen on December 14th, 1953, to Doris and Thomas Taylor of St. George, NB.  He was the youngest of 11 children.  Larry was predeceased by his beautiful daughter Jennifer, parents Doris and Thomas, and siblings Lillian, Joyce, Eugene, and Blair.  Larry is survived by his loving wife Karen (Spear), children Sarah Messer (Chris), Mark Taylor (Laura), and grandchildren Matthew (Megan), Dominyka (Tyrese), Mia and Ethan, and sisters Irene, Roselyne, Beatrice, Elizabeth, Nancy, and Linda.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, he had a special place in his heart for his nieces Maddie, Rachel, and Kendra.

Larry’s working life started early by helping his father who ran several businesses. Larry later became Director of Sales for the Atlantic Region of Lantic Sugar, where then after he became outside Sales Manager for Cox Communications before retiring in 2016.  Throughout his adult life, Larry was actively involved in the community by heading programs like Neighborhood Watch and Promise Keepers, being a lay reader, a freemason, a Gideon, and a volunteer for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

An athletic man, Larry played recreational baseball, managed a church baseball league, umpired for the city ball games, managed a floor hockey team, and played hockey.  Larry was a true sport lover, a proud fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New York Yankees.  He had a great love for travel with his wife and children - his favourite place to visit was Cocoa Beach in Florida.

Larry was an amazing man who had a heart of gold.  He would help anyone in need, especially friends and family.  Larry’s life on earth may be finished but his faith in God ensures him a home in heaven where he will be reunited with his beautiful daughter Jennifer who loved him deeply.  Life will not be the same without you dear Larry, but we promise you that you will never be forgotten, and you will live in our hearts forever.  Thank you for everything you did to make this world a better place. We all love you immensely.

You were the love of Karen’s life, and you always will be.

Thank you to Dr. Bewick for his cardiac care and expertise caring for Larry over many years, Extramural- Quispamsis and Bobby’s Hospice for excellent care during his final days.
